Privacy policy

Updated 2026-10-31.

What we keep

CribleHouse asks for no account, name or email. On your first visit, a cookie named sid gets a random id. With it, we record the searches you run (e.g. “255/55R18, winter”) and the listings you open.

A postal code you enter is only used to work out distances: it is part of the page address, but not stored with your searches. We don't keep your IP address.

Why

To show suggestions like “shoppers with this search also asked for…” and popular searches, without counting the same person twice. This is never sold, shared or used for advertising.

How long

Search and listing history is deleted automatically after 180 days. The cookie expires after the same time; you can delete it in your browser at any time.

Where

Data is hosted in Canada, by OVHcloud in Montreal, Quebec.

Links to eBay and Amazon

CribleHouse is part of the eBay Partner Network and may earn a commission when you buy after following a link to eBay, at no extra cost to you. Listings come from eBay; price and availability are as shown on eBay. Once on eBay or Amazon, their own privacy policies apply.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or ask a question, by writing to the person in charge of personal information: contact@criblehouse.com. Include your sid cookie value if you want us to find your history; without it, nothing links it to you. You can also contact Quebec's Commission d'accès à l'information.
